Who We Are

Hiatt Strategic Consulting (HSC) was launched in May 2015 by Dr. Chuck Hiatt after retiring from more than 40 years of leadership and fundraising experience in the non-profit arena. HSC is a focused consulting service aimed at helping churches, charities and other organizations become better through strategic planning.

Hiatt Strategic Consulting was registered as an LLC in the state of South Dakota in 2020 when Tim Hiatt joined HSC as a part-time partner. Together this father/son duo has nearly 60 years of experience in non-profit fundraising and the strategic leadership needed to be successful.

Successful campaigns begin with a cohesive and like minded team of volunteers/board members. We will train and mentor your group so they can successfully share your project goals and vision for the community with potential donors.

No two fundraising campaigns are alike. Calling on our experience with a variety of organizations, we will help your group craft the message and plan you want your constituents and donors to see.

Celebration

As a faith-based firm we will encourage you to discover the hope-filled confidence that God provides all essentials and goes beyond with pleasant, positive surprises (Ephesians 3:20). All fundraising efforts have a core of hard work surrounded by the celebration of legacy donors who surprise us with landmark gifts. We believe every gift is significant and every giver is significant. Recent campaigns have seen a gift of two crumpled dollar bills from a second grade student as well as a $5 million gift from a strong business leader. They both caught the spirit of giving their greatest gift causing us to celebrate by giving glory to God (Ephesians 3:21).
